Floor Sealer
Our range of safe, easy to apply sealers for floors are hardwearing and available in a Dry or Colour Enhanced finish. The floor sealer is available for most types of flooring including concrete floors, slate, limestone, indian sandstone and all natural stone surfaces.
Unlike most sealers that 'sit' on top of the floor, Smartseal floor sealers impregnate into the porous parts of the stone, sealing up the voids. This means that below the surface of the floor there is nowhere for moisture or stains to penetrate creating a highly effective sealing process. Because the sealer impregnates into the stone it will have a far greater lifespan than sealers on the surface of the flooring that quickly are worn away.
We are stockists and suppliers of all kinds of floor sealer for internal and external applications. Our range of floor sealers will create a water and stain resistant protected surface. Smartseal floor sealers are easy to apply by roller, paint, brush, sprayer or on very dense surfaces such a marble or granite by micro porous cloth.
The fluro polymer based sealers we produce are free from solvents and unpleasent odours. The sealers all comply to the latest REACH use of harmful chemical regulations. Application of our a high quality floor sealer will enable easy cleaning, protect the surface and if our 'enhanced' finish sealer is used, enrich the natural colours of the floor.
Because our sealers 'impregnate' into the floor and effectively seal from 'within' a long lifespan from the sealer is guaranteed. Dependent on type of substrate and amount of sealer applied 10+ years of protection can be expected.
Our floor sealers come in two finishes, 'dry, invisible sealer' and a 'colour enhanced wet finish' . Our sealent is suitable for all kinds of floors including slate, travertine and limestone. Application of floor sealer will also act as a highly effective grout sealer, which will protect the grout from muck and grime becoming stained.
Coverage rates for floor sealer will vary considerably dependent upon density of surface the sealer is being applied to. Generally coverage will be between 6-8 m2 per litre but on some surfaces coverage of up to 14 m2 is possible.
All our sealers for floors are a one coat product and can generally be walked on approx 4 hours after application. It is always recommended to apply sealer to a test area first.
